I mentioned my anime tattoos in an earlier blog and promised I'd come back and tell you about each of them. This is the blog where I make good on that promise. I have a ton of tattoos and 3 of them are anime related. I have plans for more anime tattoos but tattoos are expensive so I'll get to them when I can.
The first anime tattoo I got was a Totoro on my left arm. I love My Neighbor Totoro and it also represents my middle child that I watched it with so many times. He is a bit faded and needs a touchup but I still love him.
Next, I have a My Hero Academia quote on the inside of my left arm. It says "Go beyond. Plus Ultra." What's cool about this one is that people that watch anime get it and those that don't think it's just a cool motivational saying. This one was done by Alley at Living Water Art Studio. She's done all my work with the exception of Totoro.
My final anime tattoo is super special to me because it is a matching tattoo with my oldest kiddo. He's the one that first got me into anime. It represents the first anime he convinced me to watch with him. It's the Jojo birthmark from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.
Of course, I have to have a hidden leaf symbol for my favorite anime of all time. A friend of mine who is learning to tattoo did this one for me and I love it.
I have plans for several others as soon as the budget will allow. First, my oldest kiddo and I are getting another tattoo together. We are doing the Gon and Killua pointing at each other tattoo. We plan to get it done in the style of a manga panel with him getting Gon and me getting Killua.
I also would love to get a tattoo of 2 kunai knives, one for Kakashi and one for Itachi. I've seen some really cool inspiration tattoos for this one and want to get Alley to design one unique just for me.
